Good morning (1:37am right now where I'm at) ladies and gentlemen! Long time no blog. Now please excuse the fact that my camera went complete bonkers on me recently, so I don't have a working camera as of right now. I will go the Best Buy as soon as my schedule gets a little less hectic. I HATE YOU GRAD SCHOOL, HAAAAAAAAAATE!
Anyways, I saw this post on BellaMakeup and thought it was fun! So I decided to steal her idea! You better be thankful b/c I'm putting off writing my cover letter that's due in about 10 hours for this.
Here's the list of my can't live without, die-hard HG products.
CONCEALER: Coverblend by Exuviance in Beige. This covers like a mofo. I'm also loving Cinema Secret Ultimate foundations as concealers. They work WAY better than the Ben Nye ones.
LIQUID FOUNDATION: Rimmel Recover foundation<--gives me the prettiest glow. However, I DON'T recommend this for ppl w/ oily skin as it can make you look like a grease-ball. POWDER: Maybelline Dream Matte Powder <--never looks cakey. BRONZER: MAC Refined Golden
CREAM BRONZER: This is tough, but I'd have to say Chanel Bronze Universal.
BLUSH: Tony & Tina Self Healing (though the brand was DC'ed....), NYX in Terracotta, OCC Loose colour in Glisten (FOTD coming up after I get my camera fixed).
HIGHLIGHT: MAC Shimpagne MSF and Jane Mosaic blush in Wisteria <--DC'ed LIPSTICK: Maybelline Moisture Extreme in Nude Blush <--Perfect MLBB nude. It does NOT wash me out which is a miracle. LIPGLOSS: LipFusion lip plumper in Clear, VS Beautyrush in Cantaloopy, OCC Lip Tar in Grandma and Melange (They count as l/g right?)
LIPLINER: Rimmel 1000 kisses l/l in Tiramisu
LIPBALM: VS BeautyRush Minty Lip Balm (previously known as Balmy Night)
EYE PENCIL: UD 24/7 eyeliner.
EYE BASE: e/s don't really crease on me....so......yeah.
EYELINER: Stila Smudgepot in Black (I sound like a broken record)
EYESHADOW: Stila Chinois, Ben Nye Pressed e/s in Royal Purple, AMP cosmetics e/s in Blue Monday.
MASCARA: Apple mascara, Shiseido mascara base, L'oreal Telescopic, Rimmel Eye Magnifer

Tao - you are hilarious. "covers like a mofo" - I bought on ebay after your recommendation. I really hope it works. You are my makeup god - thanks so much for blogging - better than any magazine for sure! I might look into the cinema secrets thing because the Ben Nye concealer wheel - although okay is not that great. Um... I am also trying out dermablend as well because nothing seems to cover the stupid ex-pimple red/brown marks while they are in recovery mode...

Love your description of the Coverblend by Exuviance concealer! LOL! I have dark undereye circles and have yet to find something that actually covers them well so will need to look into this one. Thx!
hey, i have two apple mascara and tried one tube but didn't see much effect... i was give those because they are HG for my good old makeup buddy. wonder why it just doesn't do much trick for me but for os many people!

I really like Rimmel products. I want to try the lip liners. I have to get that coverblend. I NEED it!!
